October 19, 2003 -First Statewide Texas Organization and Planning Meeting held October 18, 2003.

On Saturday, October 18th, the first statewide organizational meeting for the Texas Clark 04 Campaign was held in Austin, Texas. Over 130 individuals representing all areas of the State (from Amarillo to to McAllen) were there to participate and lend their support and effort to the growing organization. Each attendee is taking back information to their local Clark organizations to expand the organization.

The meeting was an unqualified success, but was more than merely an opportunity to get to know each other. Organizational plans ranging from identifying and developing resources to the delegate selection process were discussed.

Among the attendees were Democrats, Republicans and independents, conservatives, moderates and liberals. All were focused on taking back the country and winning in 2004!
