Bell County Clarkies Thursday meeting.
Dateline: 15 January, 2004

Hi Clarkies all,

The Bell county for Clark group met this Evening at the Bell County Democrats HQ in Belton for a letter writing Event that was most invigorating. My best records show 16 in attendance without counting the Pizza man who brought in food courtesy of Steve Potter.

Thanks Steve it was great.

And thanks to Aliceanne for unlocking HQ and lending us a hand.

I can’t give an exact count of the letters written to NH and OK, but The box of 100 envelopes ran out and we had to go out for more.

I do have a roster of attendance, if anyone needs it.

I believe,

I know Dr. Martin Luther King said it first, but I do believe.

The meetup in Temple was great. New faces along with the Regulars all with good comments and input for our ongoing Drive to get Gen. Clark elected. More volunteers for the NH Letter writing campaign.

And don’t forget Thursday evenings at Las Casas is back on.

Erath County - Zip Drive!

Erath County Stepped Up to the Challenge!

Dateline: November 24, 2003

On Monday, November 24, 2003, a dedicated group of people from Stephenville, Texas, boldly stepped forward in an effort to win the Zip (code) Drive competition at www.clark04.com.

Erath County Volunteer Coordinator, Bill Oxford, Jr. expressed a belief that if enough people wanted to see General Clark visit Stephenville, winning this unique competition would be the easiest way to do it.

While 17 participants was not the number necessary to win the competition, the effort did cause quite a stir of excitement. Perhaps, they'll be rewarded with a visit from Wes Clark, anyway.

To all you Clark supporters out there, this is Jim Oehler reporting.

We had a good meetup here in Temple tonight. Five new faces, some dedicated to our cause and some yet to be brought aboard.

Our meetup was competing with the Temple Christmas parade at 6:30 pm and some of our regulars still away on holiday.

Luke Watson represented Mary Hardin Baylor Democratic Club. Lots of different points of view were presented and discussed.

We signed up several volunteers for our primary letter writing project.
